Xpress Towels/Towel Specialties’ Commitment to Ethical and Responsible Conduct

Towel Specialties believes we must not only meet the expectations of our customers and consumers, we must exceed those expectations. To that end, we have adopted standards for the safety, quality, and integrity of our products and processes and we are committed to respecting the rights of individuals and protecting the environment. We are dedicated to complying with all applicable laws and to conduct business in an ethical and responsible manner.

PRODUCT SAFETY
With regard to Prop 65, Towel Specialties has third party test results from accredited industry institutional labs that clearly demonstrate that our products and decoration inks are considered safe. Test results are available upon request. Due to the materials used to construct towels, blankets and robes, they are considered exempt from lead testing. It is known that certain products, by their nature, never exceed the lead content limits. These products do not require testing nor need certificates to show compliance with the law. HOWEVER, WE DON’T STOP THERE. In most cases we’ve gone above and beyond and, upon request, will provide PROP 65 testing documentation. Any product that requires a PROP 65 label is denoted as such on our product web pages. Where applicable, we utilize the warning label short form. The label is applied to product shipping directly to California. We will accommodate any label requests on these items for shipping to other states.

NO ABUSE OF LABOUR
Towel Specialties does not use any form of forced labor, including indentured, prison, bonded or slave labor. We does not use physical or verbal harassment or abuse to discipline employees.

NO CHILD LABOR

NO DISCRIMINATION
Towel Specialties does not discriminate in hiring and employment practices on the basis of age, nationality, race, religion, social, or ethnic orientation, gender, or disability.

HOURS AND WAGES
Towel Specialties will comply with all applicable wage, work hours, benefits, and overtime laws and regulations. If local industry standards are higher than applicable laws and regulations, we will meet the higher standards.
